For FICTION IMPOSSIBLE, the fringe ensemble is collaborating for the first time with Latvian author Ivo Briedis. The result is a German-Latvian co-production in both languages.
FICTION IMPOSSIBLE plays with actual events – German and Latvian artists meet for this project – and interweaves them with other fictional and actual events. German and Latvian biographies play the main role.
It was written by Ivo Briedis and directed by Frank Heuel. And thus two have found each other who harmonize excellently in their artistic work. The play is written for an extremely open audience, the program note says.
