For the first time Frank Heuel and Lothar Kittstein worked together in the context of the opening event of the series “Club der Utopisten” a cooperation of Theater Bonn and fringe ensemble. As a kind of “accompanying sound” the text OPEN.NIGHT_DAS STÜCK was created for the installative performance in the workshop of Theater Bonn.
During a boxing match, which took place in the middle of the audience as part of the performance, Lothar Kittstein wrote live. At the same time, his text was broadcast on screens in the foyer and on stage. Parallel to the actions, the audience could thus follow the text improvisation.
The text is to be understood as experimental material, not as a full-fledged, replayable piece. It has been a constitutive part of the performance, which cannot be thought of without its here and now.by Lothar Kittstein
