Kingslayer

by Andreas Vonder

KÖNIGSMÖRDER is the fourth production created in collaboration with Dutch author Andreas Vonder. It is about famous assassinations and equally famous assassins who push into the public eye by their act as an icon. Improvisations, for which both Vonder and director Frank Heuel provided the themes, formed the basis for the scenes. In addition, documentary and biographical material from and about the assassins was processed.

Anger and suffering triggered by misunderstandings are the core theme of Dutch car Andreas Vonder, who likes quick dialogues and lets them tip over into the absurd. His new play, “King’s Murderer,” doesn’t expose any suspects. The perpetrators are known and punished. Their motives, however, unexplained.
