For FICTION IMPOSSIBLE the fringe ensemble worked together with the Latvian author Ivo Briedis for the first time. The result is a German-Latvian co-production produced in both languages.
FICTION IMPOSSIBLE plays with the actual events – German and Latvian artists meet for this project – and interweaves them with other fictional and actual events. German and Latvian biographies play the main role.
Written by Ivo Briedis, staged by Frank Heuel, thus two have found each other, who perfectly harmonize in their artistic endeavors. The piece was written for an extremely open-minded audience, so says the program leaflet.
