Jens-Martin Eriksen

Jens-Martin Eriksen, born in Denmark in 1955, is the author of stories, essays, dramas, and travelogues. He has received numerous awards in Denmark, including the Beatrice Prize from the Danish Academy and the Honorary Award from the National Endowment for the Arts.
His works have been translated in several European countries. Two of his books are available in German translation from Liebeskind Verlag: “Jonathan Svidt’s Crimes” and Winter at Dawn. When Frank Heuel discovered the latter novel for the stage in 2009, he contacted Jens-Martin Eriksen. From this first stage contact, the collaboration for Finland resulted in 2011.
Most recently, Jens Martin Eriksen has left the play The Trial of Malaparte, on which he is currently writing, for a staged premiere reading.
